We drew inspiration from the physical properties of marble: it is born of metamorphism— intense pressure and heat give rise to the beautiful structure we recognize. We reimagined this metamorphic process as a visual principle for the master plan, creating zones that flow into one another much like the stone’s internal structure. Viewing marble’s structure as "patterns of eras" allows us to transform an ancient material into a new form of art.
We combine the ordered geometry of a man-made marble quarry with the picturesque quality of the stone’s natural texture; nature emerges from the quarry just as architecture rises from the landscape.
The master plan’s structure is shaped by the concept of combining "marble blocks" with jagged stone fragments, introducing a picturesque quality through offset forms. We utilize natural stone, boulders with integrated lighting, and natural granite paving. Lounge furniture in private areas lends a premium feel to the project. For the playground’s centerpiece, we drew on the image of a large "marble fragment" that serves simultaneously as a canopy, a slide, and a climbing surface.

LANDSCAPING PRINCIPLES
The core landscaping concept combines formal structure with natural forms. We preserved the centuries-old oaks in the courtyard and retained the existing birches in the public areas, supplementing them with new plantings. There is a seamless transition from the strictly manicured hedges, modular arrangements, and monocultures of the private courtyard to the naturalistic plantings of the outer grounds.
